In this webinar, Weston High School’s Kimberly Young and Re-imagining Migration to explore ways that teaching about migration through graphic novels can promote empathy and understanding of the experience of migration. We will provide examples about how to use graphic novels within the framework of Reimagining Migraiton’s learning arc, introduce specific best-practices for classroom use, and introduce exemplar panels from recently published works.
