Who Benefits?

A thinking routine to gauge and respond to inequities

Look closely at the image, story, news report or situation in front of you which involves two or more people –whether they are visible or not.

Whose perspective? Whose point of view and perspective is being represented? Whose is left out?

Who benefits?  Who might be benefit in this situation and how?

At what price?  Who might be the person(s) who lose, are affected negatively  or are left out and how?

What could change?  What might be one change in the situation allowing people to share the gain and reduce the costs?
