National Geographic’s Genographic Project

National Geographic’s Genographic Project was launched in 2005 as a research project in collaboration with scientists and universities around the world with a goal of revealing patterns of human migration. Since that time they have worked with researchers and educators to tell the story of human migration.

This short animated video shows the current understanding of paths that ancient humans used to migrate across the world.
