Thinking Routine: People, Parts, and Interactions
A thinking routine to slow down and look closely at a system
Identify a system [a policy, a cultural practice, an image a situation] and:
What are the parts of the system? Name the parts
Who are the people connected to the system? Identify the people
How do the people in the system interact with each other and with the parts of the system? Describe the interactions
How does a change in one element of the system affect the various parts and people connected to the system? Discuss.
