A pilot tool for translating belonging assessments into student-led action. We’re testing whether structured planning tools can help youth navigate institutional systems, build collaborative leadership, and sustain momentum from diagnosis through implementation—and whether the rhythm of quick-win “mini-interventions” plus longer-term action plans actually keeps clubs engaged over time.
Includes: goal-setting and reflection prompts, action plan development template, task assignment guidance (project management, community outreach, marketing roles), sample action ideas focused on cultural celebration, resilience-building, and community engagemen
We’re learning: Do students actually use these planning structures or adapt their own? What institutional barriers do youth hit when trying to implement belonging initiatives? How do clubs balance school-based actions with community outreach? What makes action plans succeed vs. fizzle? Which roles and rhythms sustain student leadership over months, not just weeks?
Designed for: Student-Led Belonging Alliance Clubs, civic action curriculum units, youth leadership programs, student councils addressing inclusion, service learning with belonging focus.
Status: In pilot. One club has tested this framework; we’re seeking others. This tool references our Student-School Culture Audit (diagnostic that precedes action planning) but can be adapted for use with other assessment methods. Expect iteration based on what we learn.
